Raider Team

Welcome to our Eagle Battalion Raider Team

We encourage all of our cadets to join one or more of our co-curricular JROTC teams such as raider and orienteering teams with many goals in mind.  First and foremost, we emphases academic excellence.  Likewise, we also focus on good attendance, exceptional behavior in and outside of our JROTC classroom, the practice of a healthy lifestyle and a personal commitment to our teams.  We have well-structured team rules and policies that are explained in great detail to each and every one of our team members at the beginning of every season.

In addition to our internal rules and policies regarding participation on any of our co-curricular teams, the US Army Cadet Command established guidance specifically outlining minimum academic performance standards.  Cadet Command Regulation 145-2 states in paragraph "9-13.  Integrated-Curricular Activities; While participation is not required of every Cadet, instructors should encourage every Cadet to participate in at least one JROTC or high school integrated-curricular activity.  Because integrated-curricular activities are so important to the success of a JROTC program, each unit will have at least two integrated-curricular teams plus a color guard.  Cadets participating in integrated-curricular activities must have a maintain a minimum of a 2.0 grade point average."

We absolutely want our cadets to learn from their experiences participating on our JROTC teams.  We also want to grow as young adults and to acquire lifelong memories while participating on any of our teams.  However, failure to follow team rules and/or policies or other violations of the personal expectations outlined in the opening paragraph may result in the removal from their given JROTC team.
